BIBLE MEDITATION: ?And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.? 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Have you ever felt too weak to win the battle? Friend, you may not be weak enough. God identifies Himself with our obedient weakness. It is when we stop trying and start trusting that God?s power can be manifest. You see, your weakness is not a liability; your weakness is an asset. The battle is not yours; it is the Lord?s! If only we could learn that God does not need our strength. God calls for our obedience! God has the strength. And He wants to give you that supernatural strength in place of your own. It is not your ability; it is your availability. It is not your fame; it is your faith. It is not who you are; it is Whose you are!
ACTION POINT: You may think that doing something in your own strength is something of which to be proud. But read 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. Where should you boast?
