BIBLE MEDITATION: ?And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.? Acts 4:32
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: You can tell a lot about a person by what makes him sad, what makes him glad, and what makes him mad. Amen? Many times this can be the lack or the abundance of possessions or wealth. However, when a person has joy in the Lord, nothing can steal that joy. Have you learned to have joy in the Lord and not in the things of this world? Are you holding the things of this world loosely? If you don?t, God may teach you to do this. To fully trust in the Lord, there must be a confidence that relies on the Lord. Secondly, there must be a communion that rejoices in the Lord. And thirdly, there must be a commitment that rolls burdens onto the Lord.
ACTION POINT: Where is your confidence ? your possessions, your position, your personal esteem? How much time do you spend communing with the Lord every day? How would you define your commitment to trust God in every area of your life?
